Got Milk?

I don’t know about you, but we go though a TON of milk around here.  I  found a great deal  on milk and decided to see how it would freeze.  To do so, I simply removed a cup of milk from each gallon (to allow for expansion), and froze them in the original container.  When I noticed I was getting low, I threw one in the refrigerator to thaw and shook before serving.  I read that freezing milk might change its consistency slightly but I did’nt notice any difference.  Make sure you freeze a gallon to start to see if you’re satisfied with the results, before you freeze a bunch!  I hope this saves you a trip or two!
