Molding Clay Recipe

You could buy a tub of baking clay from the local arts and crafts store, or if you are a frugal gal who wants to save a little extra,  you could make your own with a few simple ingredients!  This recipe is super simple and lots of fun!

Clay1

What you need:

1/2 cup cornstarch

1 cup baking soda

3/4 cup water

Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.  Stir gently until mixture starts to become firm.  When the mixture is a soft clay consistency remove it and place it on a clean surface to cool.  When it is cool you can start to knead it and it will firm up even more.

Mold clay into desired shapes.  Let it dry overnight.  Enjoy!
