Alfredo Sauce

My family LOVES Italian food. We don’t just stop at spaghetti…. We do all kinda of carb-o-licious pasta!! Yesterday we decided to do a bacon and cheese stuffed ravioli……YUM!

Here is the recipe for the Alfredo sauce:

1 stick butter
8 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup milk  (you can add more it you want a thinner sauce)
2 cloves fresh garlic, pressed

20130701-163126.jpgWhisk continually until it is creamy.  NO LUMPS.

20130701-163150.jpgAdd the milk, salt and pepper and whisk until smooth.

20130702-113956.jpgAdd the parmesan cheese and garlic mix well.  Let cook for 5 minutes on low, stirring regularly.

20130702-114248.jpgPour over your favorite pasta, or serve with bread as a dipping sauce.  It is seriously to die for!!!!!
