Pigs in Blanket

The kiddos LOVE this one.  My mom made these for us growing up.  Now I get to do the same for my kiddos.   It’s a fun recipe to make (Kinley Loves to help roll the lil smokies into crecents) and excellent for appetizers and a quick breakfast meal.  I made these this morning using the popular Copycat Pillsbury Crescent Roll recipe and they turned out really good! These are a tried and true old favorite you can’t possibly go wrong!  Since both of these foods can be purchased for as little as two dollars each (or less), coupons can enhance the savings (I normally stock the freezer at this price) which makes this meal a  super frugalistic deal.  Hope you Enjoy!

All you need are two packages of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and a package of Hillshire Farm Lil’ Smokies

Pigs in a Blanket 3The Crescent Rolls need to be cut down to size, which is accomplished by making three small triangles out of each individual roll.  Once the rolls are sectioned off, simply wrap up each Lil’ Smokie with the roll.

Place the wrapped snacks on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees (warmer temperatures may cause burning the bottoms of the wraps) for about ten to fifteen minutes or until golden brown.  Once the wrapped snacks are removed from the oven allow at least five to six minutes for them to rest.  Enjoy!!!
